【教材分析】
本单元内容主要围绕询问、回答价格，谈论服装，打电话，表达邀请，谈论自己喜欢的事物和动物展开。从第一个话题至第三个话题，内容层层递进，这些话题与学生的生活密切相关、实用性强。本单元语法是对前三个单元的项目进行巩固和复习。主要包括：名词的数、时间的表达方式和一般现在时的用法。
Topic 3We want to go to the zoo. Section C 主要活动是阅读故事“Let me help you”，培养学生阅读理解能力和流利使用帮忙及感谢的口语表达。
主要句型:

|
练习问答动物最喜欢的食物，根据屏幕动物图片的出现，抢先回答，对成功学生进行奖励。

II.Look at the pictures,ask and answer in pairs.: What`s your faourite animal?
Step 2 Presentation
I. Learn the new words:
Bamboo(竹子)：Pandas eat bamboo.
meat(肉): Tigers eat meat.
baby (婴儿): A baby monkey
wrong(错误的): What`s wrong with you?
way(路): on one’s way home （在某人回家的路上）
II．Play the flash 1a. Answer the questions.

V. Read 1a in groups, let ss understand the story.

Performance
Work in groups of five, practice and act out the story. Compare the performances with each group and choose the best group to praise.
